GeckoCIRCUITS contribution

A runtime fix protected by circuit-level regression evidence.

Updated

Context

GeckoCIRCUITS is an open-source Java simulator whose long-lived codebase carries valuable power-electronics behavior.

Constraint

A graphical-startup process that failed to stop exposed a wider risk: a local fix could alter numerical behavior without a reliable circuit-level signal.

Contribution

I contributed the lifecycle fix and paired it with a regression framework using twenty-one circuit golden references.

Approach

The failure was reduced to a reproducible case, corrected at its source, and then protected at the observable simulator boundary.

Outcome

The immediate failure was resolved and later changes gained a broader safety net against unintended circuit-result regressions.

Evidence

The merged public pull request contains the fix, regression harness, and circuit references.
