Specialist engineering support at the boundary between components and power-electronics applications.

Engagement recorded; detailed dates withheld

Contributions

  • Connected component behavior with application-level operating conditions and design decisions.
  • Produced bounded technical analysis suitable for review without publishing client-confidential detail.

Context

A component datasheet describes behavior under defined conditions. A converter subjects that component to its own conditions, and the distance between the two is where application support lives.

Constraint

The analysis draws on information that belongs to the client, so it has to be structured to be reviewable without the confidential detail travelling with it. A conclusion that can only be checked by someone inside the engagement is not much use afterwards.

Contribution

I connected component behavior to application-level operating conditions and design decisions, and produced bounded technical analysis suitable for review without publishing client-confidential detail.

Approach

Scope and assumptions were stated explicitly so the analysis was bounded by construction: what was assumed, what was measured, and what the conclusion therefore covers, which is what allows the reasoning to be shown while the specifics stay in.

Outcome

Design decisions supported by analysis that holds up to review, and a record that remains publishable because the boundary was drawn before the work began rather than after.
