Magnetics Knowledge Foundation
Reviewable magnetics models with explicit provenance and honest feasibility boundaries.
Updated
Context
Magnetic-component design combines material data, analytical models, geometry, operating conditions, and topology-specific constraints.
Constraint
A plausible number is not enough: an engineer needs to trace the model behind it and the software must reject infeasible operating points instead of returning meaningless results.
Contribution
I contributed documentation, candidate pruning, litz-wire synthesis, model selection, feasibility checks, and a PLECS-facing processing path.
Approach
Changes were kept at reviewable boundaries and backed by model citations, tests, and public pull-request history.
Outcome
The engine gained clearer model guidance, more controlled searches, and safer behavior at invalid operating points.
Evidence
The upstream repository and merged history expose the models, documentation, tests, and contribution trail.
